A native of Missouri, Mark Bockstruck took over the reigns of the Oakland City University volleyball team in 2016, leading the team to a 10-12 record, and a berth in the NCCAA Midwest Regional Tournament.

Coach Bockstruck spent 10 years as a club volleyball coach overall between the Capital Area Volleyball Club, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the Osage County Volleyball Club, in Osage County, Missouri, and with River City Volleyball Club, in Evansville, Indiana.

His coaching experience also includes five years as the head coach at Fatima High School, in Westphalia, Missouri, where he led the team to five conference titles (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014), four district titles (2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014), two state runner-up finishes (2011 & 2014), and one state title (2012).

Earning a five year record of 152-27-10, Bockstruck also earned Coach of the Year honors in 2012. Fatima High School had never gone to the final four tournament before his arrival, and 2012 is the team's only state championship.

Bockstruck also served as a volunteer assistant coach at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, in 2015, helping the team to a 22-15 record. He helps with multiple camps, including the University of Illinois volleyball camp.

Coach Bockstruck resides in Evansville, Indiana, with his wife, Goldie, and their daughter.
