Bio:

David Hose, a native of Sumner, Illinois, joined the staff of the Oakland City Athletic Department as the Sports Information Director and Assistant Athletic Director of Events in 2009 and was named Head Women's Golf Coach for the 2010-11 season.

In 2015, the Lady Oaks golf team made their first appearance at the NCCAA National Championship tournament, finishing 9th.

A member of the Oakland City University men's golf team from 2003-08, Hose has been involved in OCU athletics for over a decade.

He graduated summa cum laude from OCU in 2008 with a B.A in English and a B.S. in Social Studies.

Hose spent five years working in the IT department on campus before moving to the athletic department.

"Coaching has been something I have felt would be a good fit for me. I have always enjoyed working with people to better themselves, both on and off the course.

"If I can help someone play better that is great, but if they graduate a better person and I have played a small part in that, I have succeeded."

Hose resides in Oakland City, Indiana, with his wife Heather and daughter Bethany.

Bio:

Dave Pemberton joined the OCU women's golf coaching staff at the start of the 2017-18 season after previously coaching Gibson Southern High School for the past ten years. He coached the first state qualifier from Gibson County during his tenure, which includes Gibson Southern, Princeton Community, and Wood Memorial high schools.

"We are excited to have Coach Pemberton join our team," states OCU head coach David Hose, "His wealth of knowledge will be a great asset to our program. He brings a lot of experience, a fantastic attitude, and local notoriety to our team. I am looking forward to working with, and learning from, coach P."

A member of the OCU golf team during his college days, Pemberton graduated from Oakland City University (College) in 1970.

Pemberton resides in Warrenton, Indiana, with his wife Debbie.
